Our seventh podcast episode is taken from Wendy Bunston's address to our recent forum, 'Working to strengthen the mother-child bond'. Wendy Bunston is the Manager of the Community Group Program & Addressing Family Violence Programs at the Royal Children’s Hospital Mental Health Service (RCH MHS). She is a passionate advocate of the need to work with infants/children and their mothers who have experienced family violence. In her address to DVRCV’s forum ‘Working to Strengthen the Mother-Child Bond’ on 8 June, Wendy spoke of the importance of infant-led work. “This is about being curious about the mind of the infant, and introducing the mother to being curious about the mind of the infant.” Due to technical issues at the time of recording, unfortunately the audio quality is not up to the standard of our other podcasts.
